Founded in 1991 by two partners with a combined 30 years of switchgear experience gained at leading industry manufacturers, Armah Switchgear has grown from those roots into a business with an £12.6m turnover by FY2026, continuing to exceed growth targets year on year.<br /> In 2024, the company was acquired by the Connor Group and with the acquisition has come heavy investment in both facilities, systems and staff and it continues to be recognised as one of the industry's leaders. Investing in people is central to how Armah Switchgear operates, with ongoing support for apprenticeships, NVQ qualifications and higher education. This commitment to excellence extends across the business, underpinned by industry certifications spanning quality, health and safety, and process management.
